Super Spacer
The Spacer is what separates the two glass panes in your window. The type of material used to construct the spacer is also an important factor in overall efficient performance. Most vinyl windows on the market today use a less metal spacer system. The metal used in these types of spacer systems contracts heat and cold resulting in a greater chance for condensation to occur. 80% of a window's heat loss is through the glass itself, and the edge of the glass is a window's weakest link. When the glass edge is thermally inefficient, condensation forms, affecting the view through the window. This can cause expensive damage to window sills, frames, curtains, paint, and plaster.
